If group online program is not your thing, perhaps a personalized coaching program would be more suitable.  This package includes a 90 minute initial consultation, and six 45 minutes one-on-one coaching calls to discuss your progress . Together we will make sure you are moving towards your health goals.

I work with common age-related chronic diseases such as hypertension, weight management, pre-diabetes or Type 2 diabetes. I also work with women with hormone balancing and menopausal issues. 

During your initial personal consultation, we will discuss your concerns, your history, and your current environment. We will develop a personalized comprehensive plan that supports your metabolic function. 

In the spirit of Functional Medicine, recommendations offered will include conventional and integrative approaches and may include allied health and natural health products. 

Functional medicine restores health by determining how and why illnesses occur and addressing the root causes of disease for each individual. This paradigm of medicine is systems-oriented, patient-focused, and evidence based. 

Rather than focusing solely on one specific malfunctioning organ, functional medicine examines the whole body and outside factors that are causing illness. This approach empowers you to work closely with your practitioners towards health and wellness.

Lab tests are for information only and not for diagnosis of conditions. Where lab values indicates abnormalities, you will be asked to see your family physician for further assessment. Some examples of functional laboratory tests include:

  • Full hormonal assessment including cortisol levels, hormone metabolites, neurotransmitter metabolites and oxidative stress markers (DUTCH or CHI)
  • Adrenal Stress Test- cortisol and melatonin
  • Complete Digestive Stool Analysis
  • Gut Flora testing
  • Pharmacogenomics
  • Nutrigenomics

12 weeks is generally the amount of time required to change or adopt a habit.  As we will be discussing many new healthy habits, it’s not possible to cover them all over a shorter period of time.
